Coalition Against Socialized Medicine Statement on Elizabeth Warren’s Plan to Fund Her $52 Trillion Medicare for All Proposal

ALEXANDRIA, VA, ‪November 1, 2019 – The Coalition Against Socialized Medicine (CASM), a broad coalition of leading conservative and free-market groups such as the American Conservative Union, Heritage Action, FreedomWorks, the National Taxpayers Union, Club for Growth, Citizens Against Government Waste, American Commitment, and the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, has issued the following statement on Elizabeth Warren’s plan to fund her $52 trillion Medicare for All proposal attributable to CASM Executive Director Marc Palazzo (mpalazzo@conservative.org):

            “The details on how Elizabeth Warren plans to pay for her $52 trillion health care industry takeover aren’t based in reality. Her admission that it would destroy 2 million middle-class jobs only further proves that. What’s more, the cost of her plan dwarfs the $32 trillion price tag of Bernie Sanders’ plan—that’s saying something. In the end, her socialist policies that favor government-sanctioned theft will come at the expense of hard-working families all across America.”
